Nutritherapy
Nutritherapy fits within a current concern as regards preserving one's health capital.
In order to achieve an imrovement of living hygiene it is necessary to change one's diet. But the tyranny of « bad eating » reigns.
The Val de Marne study highlights these deficiencies throughout Europe.
- 100% of individuals have a vitamin E and zinc deficiency
- 100% of women and 75% of men have a magnesium deficiency
- 90 to 80% of individuals lack vitamins B6, B9 and B12
- the same is true for omega 3 fatty acids, etc.
Nutritherapy is a preventive medicine and finds its place perfectly beside traditional medicine.
Born from orthomolecular medicine over 30 years ago, nutritherapy is the fruit of the advances in international science over the last 15 years as regards nutrition.
Nutritherapy is the controlled use of a group of essential substances in the organism called micronutrients, that have a synergic action.
The micronutrients are classed in 4 categories :
- Vitamins
- Mineral salts
- Essential fatty acids
- Essential amino acids
For the correct functioning of our body we have to obtain essential nutrients through a balanced diet. Nevertheless, numerous studies have shown that even if it is "balanced" the provision remains insufficient.
Nutritherapy is fundamental in order to understand the origin of numerous pathologies. A simple deficit may result in a disruption in the cellular metabolism chain. The organism consequently takes from its reserves, thereby increasing the risk of deficiencies and pathological processes.
In order to obtain top quality supplements, Pharco takes the following quality criteria as its base:
Synergy
Each element of each formula reinforces the activity of all the other elements of the formula: vitamins C, E, beta-carotene, magnesium and B vitamins acting in synergy.
Bio-compatibility
Each element of a formula is perfectly compatible with all the other components. All negative interactions must be banned such as: iron and zinc, as they inhibit their respective absorption, iron and vitamin C that constitute an oxidative bomb. On the other hand, the association of magnesium and calcium is compatible and desirable.
Bio-availability
Bio-availability sets the conditions for the assimilation potential of a micronutrient.
It depends on:
- The nature of the salt for minerals (glycerophosphate for magnesium, citrate for zinc, …)
- Natural vitamin for liposoluble vitaE)
- The quality of the raw materials used for the realisation of formulas. E.g. the price of fish oil varies from 5 to 50€.
Tolerance
Tolerance is directly linked to the choice of mineral salts. For example, a study has shown that the magnesium glycerophosphate does not cause any more intolerance than the placebo.
